Janet Archibald Bio

Janet is the founder and co-owner of Alive & Well Personal Training with a career in the health and fitness industry that spans over two decades. She attended the University of Alberta to gain a Bachelor Degree in Arts with a major in Sociology and a minor in Psychology before following her true passion and transitioning into the fitness industry. Her education towards the understanding of human nature has served her well in helping clients work through the issues of why they struggle with being active. Janet takes great pride in her ability to help clients uncover and achieve their true fitness potential. As an internationally certified ACE instructor, Janet has grown her business by ensuring exceptional service, with most of her clients having worked with her for 4 or more years. When she’s not demonstrating the proper way to perform a plank or upping the incline on the treadmill, you can find Janet mastering “the stairs” in Tsawwassen or waterskiing at Cultus Lake with her husband and three kids.
