Dr. Julie Croteau was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. She completed a BSc. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Alberta prior to completing her Medical Degree and Family Medicine Residency at the University of Calgary. She is thrilled to be starting her own family practice at CVFP. In addition to her work at CVFP she also works as a Hospitalist here in Calgary. When she's not working, you can often find her in Canmore with her husband and their dog, hiking, biking, skiing and adventuring. She also enjoys yoga, reading and spending time with friends.

    I don't go to the doctors often and when I did in the past with the last GP, I have been referred to have tests performed. Today was not the case, told that I am young, it's normal and come back when the pain persists. Also, the visit was rushed. I did not have the comfort that any preventative actions were given when visiting the GP.
