De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis is a painful condition that affects the tendons on the radial (thumb) side of the wrist and affects the tendons that move the thumb.

De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis is usually caused by spontaneous swelling of the tunnel that carries two of the tendons that go to the thumb.
