Dr. Tyler Linn is a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) who completed his professional training at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 2010. Prior to that, he obtained a Bachelor of Human Kinetics Degree (BHKIN) from the University of British Columbia. Dr. Linn has a diverse range of certifications and additional training in various therapies and techniques. He is a certified provider of Active Release Technique ® (ART) and Graston Technique ®, which are soft tissue therapies used to treat musculoskeletal conditions. In addition, he has completed further training in rehabilitation, treatment, and diagnosis, including Functional Anatomic Palpation Systems and FAKTR-PM. Dr. Linn gained valuable experience during his clinical internships in Toronto, where he worked as a Doctor of Chiropractic at East Toronto Orthopaedic & Sports Injury Clinic and The Performance Health Centre. In 2014, Dr. Linn and his wife, Sarah, decided to establish their own healthcare clinic called Aktiv Coast Healthcare in Tsawwassen, British Columbia. They made the move across the country and set up their practice in their new hometown. Throughout his life, Dr. Linn has been involved in sports and athletics. During his time at the University of British Columbia, he coached and competed in basketball at the junior varsity level. More recently, he has developed a passion for marathon running and rock climbing. Dr. Linn's strong interest in sports performance and conditioning led him to become certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. This certification allows him to provide specialized training and conditioning programs to athletes. It complements his special interest in sports-related injuries and functional rehabilitation, enabling him to help individuals recover and optimize their performance.
