Bio: Dr. Teya is a born and raised Calgarian. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Ambrose University in Calgary, AB, in which she also played both collegiate-level volleyball and futsal. She then obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States in Portland, OR. Dr. Teya believes that patient education is very important in resolving symptoms, and she wants to find the root cause of your symptoms to allow for better success. She uses a variety of techniques such as manual adjustments, soft tissue therapy, and rehabilitation exercises to create a personalized treatment plan. Dr. Teya educates her patients that chiropractic care can help reduce symptoms, but it can also be used as a preventative treatment, which can help create a healthier lifestyle. In her spare time, Dr. Teya likes to coach high school girls’ volleyball, live an active lifestyle, and hang out with her friends and family!
