Dr. Lindsey Rebeiro Bio

Dr. Rebeiro is a chiropractor who adopts a patient-centered approach to managing various musculoskeletal conditions. She believes in tailoring chiropractic techniques to suit each individual's needs and goals. Dr. Rebeiro focuses on assessing full body biomechanics and dynamic function while exploring the interrelations between different tissues such as skeletal, muscular, nervous, and connective tissues. Throughout the course of treatment, she remains approachable and open-minded to ensure the best care for her patients. Dr. Rebeiro graduated Summa Cum Laude with Clinic Honors from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2012. She also received training in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. Prior to becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic, she obtained a BScH in Life Sciences from Queen's University. In addition to her chiropractic practice, Dr. Rebeiro has been actively involved with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) since 2012. She participates in the Community Learning Sessions, allowing medical students to observe and learn about interdisciplinary care in her practice. In 2015, she was appointed as an Assistant Professor at NOSM in Sudbury, where she teaches medical students in the Division of Clinical Sciences. Dr. Rebeiro has also completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training through Yoga Medicine. She recognizes the health benefits of yoga, including its adaptability and accessibility as a tool for injury prevention, body awareness, mobility, rehabilitation, and overall well-being. Perinatal and post-natal care is an area of special interest for Dr. Rebeiro. She has pursued additional training and obtained her Webster Certification, which allows her to better serve the child-bearing population. Dr. Rebeiro takes a comprehensive approach to assess and treat pregnant patients, similar to her approach with all patients. Dr. Rebeiro is a member in good standing with the Ontario Chiropractic Association and the Canadian Chiropractic Association. She is an advocate for local businesses and promotes an active and healthy lifestyle. With her extensive training, dedication to patient-centered care, and interdisciplinary approach, Dr. Rebeiro strives to provide the best possible chiropractic treatment to her patients, promoting their overall well-being and addressing their specific needs.
