Dr. Ivan Prpic Bio
Dr. Ivan Prpic, OD, FAAO, Optometrist, Burnaby grew up in Richmond, B.C. and received his Bachelor of Science degree from The University of British Columbia before moving to Boston to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from The New England College of Optometry.
During his clinical training, Dr. Ivan Prpic, OD, FAAO, Optometrist, Burnaby gained experience in managing ocular diseases at Providence Veterans Affairs Hospital, dispensing and managing specialty contact lenses at Boston Medical Center, caring for low vision patients and those with intellectual and physical disabilities at Perkins School for the Blind, and co-managing surgeries at Eye Consultants of Colorado.
After earning his Doctor of Optometry degree, Dr. Ivan Prpic, OD, FAAO, Optometrist, Burnaby completed a residency in ocular disease and primary care at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center through the State University of New York (SUNY) College of Optometry. During his residency, he worked alongside specialists in various fields, including retinal surgery, corneal surgery, glaucoma, oculoplastics, and neuro-ophthalmology. He also served as an assistant clinical instructor, training and instructing optometry students.
Dr. Ivan Prpic, OD, FAAO, Optometrist, Burnaby has given lectures on advanced ocular disease, systemic disease and the eyes, and the physics of optics and visual perception. He is dedicated to serving his profession and community as an optometrist.
