Dr. Petar Prpic, OD, FSLS, Optometrist, Burnaby is a professional optometrist who was born and raised in Richmond, BC. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of British Columbia, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Following that, he pursued his Doctorate in Optometry at the New England College of Optometry in Boston. During his time at the New England College of Optometry, Dr. Prpic is an optometrist  in Burnaby excelled academically and was granted membership to the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society for every year of his attendance. He also received the Dr. Hyman R Kamens Achievement Award and was honored with the New England College of Optometry Presidential Medal. These accolades reflect his dedication and commitment to his studies.

Dr. Petar Prpic, OD, FSLS, Optometrist, Burnaby gained valuable clinical experience through various externships during his optometric training. He worked at a Veterans Administration Hospital and a Neighbourhood Health Centre in Massachusetts, an Indian Health Services Centre in Alaska, and The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in New York City. Additionally, he gained experience working in family practices in Connecticut. These diverse clinical settings provided him with a well-rounded education and exposure to different patient populations. After completing his education, Dr. Petar Prpic, OD, FSLS, Optometrist, Burnaby joined a full scope optometric office in downtown Vancouver. In addition to providing patient care, he also took on responsibilities in practice management. Currently, he is thrilled to work alongside Dr. Ivan Prpic at Prpic Eyecare Centre, applying his skills and knowledge to benefit their patients.

Dr. Petar Prpic, OD, FSLS, Optometrist, Burnabybelieves in actively participating in his community. He serves as a member of the Continuing Education Committee of the BC Association of Optometrists, where he contributes to the advancement of optometric knowledge and practices. He is also involved with the New England College of Optometry Alumni Association, staying connected to his alma mater and supporting the optometric community. Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Petar Prpic enjoys spending quality time with his wife. He maintains an active lifestyle by engaging in activities such as playing soccer, snowboarding, and working out.
