She pushed medication as my only option. I agreed to try it. I hated it. I suffered a nervous breakdown & was fine 2 years later. She deemed non compliance. 4.5 years later I'm being forcefully injected meds for an illness I don't even have! May her eternal life be nothing but pain suffering & loss. She invests you know!.... By er turn to be the guinny pig! ROT IN A PLACE WORSE THAN HELL MONIWA!????????

Idiot all around. She couldn't explain how the meds she prescribed are processed in the body. My only option was medication as no other methods we're offered. She also "graduated" from UBC where 100 percent of the students have investments in pharmaceutical company's. Google it if you don't believe me. She's a fraudulent idiot that doesn't care about her clients & worships the all mighty dollar!

I was referred to dr. Moniwa for anxiety/depression. She basically said I had no mental health issues, except that I might have borderline traits (isn't that a mental health issue?), but she would not refer me to any DBT groups because, and I quote 'real borderlines would eat you alive.' I don't think this is an appropriate attitude from a mental health professional. I left with no treatment plan or referrals, and nothing done to address my symptoms.

Felt very dismissed and invalidated. Dr. Moniwa has a very haughty bearing that is very unsettling in a medical setting, especially in psychiatry. She did not take a thorough history and her questioning perseverated within a very narrow focus unrelated to the problem for which I had been referred. I received no treatment plan or other referrals.
