Dr. Colton MacLean D.C. Dr. Maclean believes physical activity is a lifelong process and one of the most important things you can do for your health. Maintaining an active lifestyle may lead to a few aches and ailments along the way, but Dr. MacLean believes it is essential that patients understand that their bodies are strong, adaptable and resilient. Dr. Maclean grew up in Yorkton, Saskatchewan where he spent his winters playing hockey and summers water skiing and boating. His love for hockey led him to Fort Qu’Appelle to play for the Fort Knox for 4 years. This is where he quickly found the benefits of chiropractic care. After playing hockey, he made his way back to the classroom to pursue a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology degree – majoring in human kinetics from the University of Regina With several family members in health care and guidance from others in the chiropractic field, Dr. Maclean decided to further his education at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. Graduating with Magna Cum Laude honours in 2020 with a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree including a Sports Emphasis designation Due to his love of athletics and outdoor activities, Dr. Maclean dedicated himself to gaining a better understanding of exercise prescription, rehab and soft tissue treatment by spending countless hours reading research, completing courses and listening to professionals that have been working in the field for many years. Dr. Maclean is committed to helping all of his patients achieve their healthcare goals, regardless of what they might be. Dr. Maclean’s treatment consists of a detailed history, to help him gain a better understanding of you, your ailment and what it is preventing you from doing. He then works together with you to help you take control of your pain while you are away from the clinic. While you are in the clinic, Dr. Maclean takes a multi-faceted approach utilizing chiropractic manipulation, soft tissue therapy (FAKTR/MRT), rehabilitative exercises, taping, laser among other things! In his free time, Dr. Maclean enjoys spending time with his family and friends, going for runs, playing hockey, waterskiing and genuinely enjoying the outdoors. Dr. Maclean loves providing evidence based, ethical care to individuals of all ages and abilities.
