Alison MacDonald, a dedicated chiropractor, has always had a dream of returning to a small northern community to provide healthcare. Born and raised in Fort Nelson, BC, she is passionate about spinal health, headaches, and treating joint and soft tissue injuries using the Diversified Technique. Alison has also received additional training in techniques such as Active Release Therapy and RockTaping. Alison's educational background includes a Bachelor of Health Science in Biomedicine with a minor in Psychology from the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) in Prince George, BC. After completing her undergraduate degree, she pursued her four-year doctorate at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, ON, graduating in June 2019. An active member of the community, Alison has held various positions that reflect her dedication to service. She has served as the Manager of the UNBC CIS Women's basketball team, worked as a crisis line worker at the Northern Crisis Centre, and served as an Emergency Medical Service/Chiropractic Intern for a trans-provincial bike rally. In her free time, Alison enjoys engaging in physical activities. She finds joy in hiking, running, and snowboarding. With a passion for being active, she is excited to serve the community of Terrace and contribute to the health and well-being of its residents.
