Kirsten Klemm Bio

Hello, my name is Kirsten and I am a Registered Psychologist practicing in south Edmonton. Some of the issues I can assist with include anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma and PTSD, self-harm, and domestic violence. I am especially passionate about stress and burnout and love assisting clients through the process of self-compassion and boundary setting. I have worked in various positions assisting people with difficult situations and change for 9 years. I use various therapy modalities in my work with clients, but I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I work with individuals who have PTSD and trauma symptoms using Prolonged Exposure (PE). PE is an evidenced based therapy and is strongly recommended for PTSD treatment. With trauma, individuals find that their world becomes smaller. PE is a great therapeutic tool to assist you in regaining functioning in your life. I strive to create a healing environment where you can work through difficult issues without judgement. My role is to use my clinical training and experience to guide the process. I am able to direct bill several companies and offer online booking. Please check out my website for more information.
