Dr Stone graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1999 with a degree of MD. Following this he completed five years in an Orthopaedic residency program, also at Memorial University of Newfoundland. He has had full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia since July of 2004. In addition to his Orthopedic training he has completed fellowship examinations at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in June of 2004 as well as a one year fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma surgery. Dr. Stone has an appointment in the Division of Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery in the Department of Orthopaedics with the University of British Columbia. His operates at Eagle Ridge and Royal Columbian Hospitals with focus mainly in knee and hip, sports and reconstructive surgery and orthopaedic trauma with a special interest in lower extremity reconstruction, deformity correction and pelvic & acetabular reconstruction.
