We all forget things as we age, but that doesn’t mean we have dementia. Dementia isn’t just one condition - it’s a term that refers to symptoms that cause a decline in mental ability that interferes with daily life. Alzheimer's is the most common type of dementia and accounts for 60 to 80 percent of cases. Vascular dementia is the second most common dementia type and occurs after a stroke. Memory loss that worsens over time can be another type of dementia.  Pour plus d'informations et les services locaux des psychiatres locaux à Montréal et à Québec PQ, contactez votre psychiatre local

He is dangerous he gives shock treatments in the hospital that in itself is bad enough but to have a patient wake up in the middle of it? A anesthetic induced unconscious patient is definitely not supposed to wake up in the middle of it.

If his utter incompetence wasn’t bad enough, he’s now on extended leave without informing his patients or arranging someone to refill their medication prescriptions. This is going to cause extreme distress for many patients who need their prescriptions refilled! He should be criminally charged for his reckless endangerment to people

My niece went to see this man. This was her first time with a mental heath professional. She in non-binary and does not want childern. When giving her medical history she informed him that she also suffers from Endometriosis. His advice for my 17 year old niece was to get knocked up, and that would cure her of her Endometrosis. This man should not be practicing. Luckily she has a new resource for mental health, however, she was to afraid to enter this new appointment without her mother present. The new doctor was horrified when informed of his behavior. Leaving 1 star because they make me. ZERO STARS

He’s completely senile and dangerous. Avoid. He’s been responsible for many suicides and keeps making repeated mistakes with my prescriptions, so I have to keep hunting him down to correct them. I’m keeping track of every instance (7years) and I’ve about had enough

Shouldn’t be practicing if he’s going to pick and choose who he gives proper care like some kind of social experiment.

Beshai is a liar or just plain incompetent. I admitted myself to emerg overnight, was reconnected with mental health supports etc in the morning and felt fine and ready to leave. When I tried to leave, people were guarding the door and I was told I had been Form 1'd. ~12 hours later I finally manage to corner Beshai, and he tries to tell me that I was detained because I refused to submit to a blood test. The thing is though that I WAS cooperating up until I got Form 1'd -- The blood test was refused BECAUSE I was being detained, and came after he already detained me. And while I'm pointing this fact out to Beshai, he has the audacity to -WALK AWAY- from me mid conversation. I then had to spend 4 days locked in the back room with literally nothing but a mat on the floor, nothing to do, no one to interact with. As and added bonus, Beshai is also misogynistic. Why would you ever think its appropriate to say "Yeah... But shes a woman" to one of your patients? Just because I'm a guy? And saying it like its a bad thing? When you're talking about a colleague who is every bit as qualified and skilled as you are?

Will put you on a form 1 by deceiving you and saying your going voluntarily. Only to find out he lied hours later when he had already left the hospital. Dishonest and deceptive.

Beshai has basically made my life a living hell, after lying to my face on countless occasions I have lived from cheque to cheque, I have gone hungry and the stress of finances has taken its toll and all of this could have never have been had he just done his job. Its terrible when your own psychiatrist is a form of PTSD in your life. it has now been close to 6 years since my first attempt at applying through with his lack of professionalism The absolute worst doctor I have ever encountered. Dealing with him makes me want to die more than my mental illness does. HE shows up to EVERY SINGLE APPOINTMENT a minimum of an hour late and is then absolutely useless

Beshai has basically made my life a living hell, after lying to my face on countless occasions about filling out my AISH forms it has now been closed to 8 years since my first attempt at applying my oldest has grown and moved out and my middle child is 18 in a week, we have lived from cheque to cheque, we have gone hungry and the stress of finances has taken its toll and all of this could have never have been had he just done his job. I refuse to see him now unless I'm applying for AISH. Its terrible when your own psychiatrist is a form of PTSD in your life. My entire family has a server dislike of him including my kids who are pretty much grown now because of what he has put us through with his lack of professionalism

I'm more suicidal after seeing him for 3 years. He has made everything worse, and prevents me from getting the resources I need to get better. I'm going to end up killing myself and it's his fault. I'm trying to reach out for help but no one cares. I'm exhausted.
