Dr. Rebecca Laffoley was born and raised in Riverview. She attended Dalhousie University as a President’s scholar, earning her undergraduate degree in microbiology and immunology. Following her time at Dalhousie, Dr. Laffoley attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. During her time at CMCC, Dr. Laffoley also graduated from McMaster University’s Neurofunctional Acupuncture program. We are very fortunate that Dr. Laffoley has decided to return to her hometown to practice at the Riverview Chiropractic Clinic. Dr. Laffoley is interested in neuromusculoskeletal health and how it impacts her patients’ daily lives. A detailed physical exam as well as functional movement assessment is done to evaluate her patients. She uses a combination of diversified manipulation techniques, mobilization, and soft tissue therapy to address and treat her patients’ conditions. Dr. Laffoley also frequently employs modalities in her treatment plans, including low level laser therapy, interferential current therapy, instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy, therapeutic and athletic tape, AcuTENS, traditional and electroacupuncture as well as orthotics. She is also a proponent of active, self-directed care through supervised and independent rehabilitation exercise protocols. Dr. Laffoley enjoys treating all conditions and patient populations, and is an inclusive healthcare provider. Dr. Laffoley is an active member of the New Brunswick Chiropractors’ Association (NBCA), the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA), and the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). Beyond chiropractic medicine, Dr. Laffoley enjoys living an active lifestyle that includes cycling, swimming, and running. She is an avid gardener and devoted dog mom, and enjoys being outdoors exploring everything the east coast has to offer.
