I was assigned to Dr O after commitment to RCH in the mid-90s following the birth of my son. He was very-take charge, and I believe he genuinely did care and wanted to help me. He did his best to accomodate me w/i the dictates of treatment for my condition. I was a very uncooperative, conflicted patient, and that definitely put a strain on our relationship. 6 mos post-partum, we decided I should seek alternative care through Mental Health. 10 years later, during a nervous breakdown, I consulted w/ him again, and found although, he knew me and my case, we just didn't "fit" -- he's very take charge, while I prefer to feel more active and included in my care. Also important to note: if you are a person w/ strong faith, he isn't the doc for you -- definitely doesn't respect this.
