Dr. Michelle Laframboise has dedicated her professional career to working with and treating athletes and families alike. Dr. Laframboise graduated with Magna Cum Laude and clinical honours from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) after completing a fitness and health diploma from Fanshawe College and an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from Brock University. After graduating as a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Laframboise went on to pursue a sports sciences specialty in the post-graduate residency program at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, due to her particular interest in sports and sport specific injuries. Dr. Laframboise is a Sports Specialist Chiropractor and belongs to the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (RCCSS(C)). She is currently active on the board of the RCCSS(C) serving as the 2nd Vice President and serves as a member of the fellowship committee. She has taught at the undergraduate level at CMCC and still maintains an active role in the research community, publishing numerous research articles in peer-reviewed journals. She also continues to act as a reviewer in the peer-review process for many journals. Dr. Laframboise has always had a passion for the development of grass roots athletes and is heavily involved in the athletic community. Her dedication and love for sports is shown through her work with local sports teams. She was the team doctor for the Rama Aces Junior A Hockey team. She has worked as a team doctor for provincial and national soccer clubs, hockey teams, snowboarding, triathlon, track and field, international wrestling competitions and provincial and national figure skating competitions. She has also been a member of the core medical team for provincial and national level taekwondo competitions and football games. Dr. Laframboise has had the pleasure to work as medical manager for the Ontario Summer and Winter Games. Dr. Laframboise had the pleasure of being the Chair of the Ontario Winter Games in March 2020. Dr. Laframboise is a certified Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Provider (McMaster University), an Active Release Techniques® practitioner, a certified Graston® provider, a certified Sports First Responder and certified personal trainer. Dr. Laframboise is also a Complete Concussion Management® certified practitioner.
