Dr. Michael Freeman is the Medical Director of the Heart and Vascular Program, Director of Nuclear Cardiology and Acting Director of Medical Informatics at St. Michael's Hospital. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. He earned his medical degree from Queen's University in Kingston in 1974 after completing a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Windsor. Dr. Freeman completed his Fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Toronto in 1978 and then spent two years as a Research Fellow in Nuclear Cardiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles.
