It's crucial to continue receiving vaccinations throughout life to protect against infectious diseases that haven't been eradicated and to maintain immunity against those for which immunity wanes over time.

The emergence of antibiotic resistance has indeed made the treatment of certain infections more challenging. Vaccination plays a critical role in preventing infections in the first place, reducing the need for antibiotics and helping to curb the development of antibiotic resistance.

Some vaccines, like the tetanus vaccine, require booster shots because the immunity they provide gradually decreases over time. By staying up to date with such vaccinations, adults can ensure they maintain optimal protection against preventable diseases.

Moreover, adult immunization has broader benefits beyond personal protection. By getting vaccinated, healthy adults contribute to the concept of herd immunity. This means that when a significant portion of the population is immune to a disease, it creates a protective barrier that helps prevent its spread and protects those who are most vulnerable, such as young children, the elderly, and individuals with weakened immune systems.

It's important to have open and regular discussions about immunization with primary healthcare providers. They can provide guidance on the appropriate vaccines and schedules based on individual health status, age, occupation, travel plans, and other relevant factors. By staying proactive and getting vaccinated as adults, we can collectively reduce the burden of infectious diseases and help protect ourselves and others.

We are so lucky to have found him after our family doctor retired. Dr Loke is one of the best! How many doctors actually call you with test results, she does! If she doesn’t have the answers she makes sure you get to a specialist that does. She is kind, listens to you, and is always reassuring.

Not educated. Makes you feel worse about the situation you are in. She freaks you out more than she makes you feel better. She should not be handling lives that are seeking medical attention. Please please please if you love your family/friend. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. Her english, terrible. Assessment of situation, terrible. Her care towards her patients, disgusting. You can’t even call her a doctor. She should not be in this profession.

She is the best! has always been so thorough and listen to me. She spent time explaining things that no other drs will do. Does not understand why would people comment regarding her English and incompetency. She is an Asian with accent but does not mean she speak incoherent English. She is great with my kids as well and down to earth.

I found this Dr. quite incompetent, does not speak coherent English, her judgement seems poor, also she is very uncooperative and rude with patients, and not willing to listen in any sense, or seemingly provide adequate care regardless. Would avoid seeing this Doctor.

Would have appreciated comments on my concerns. Told her my ears were causing me problems. She took out the instrument to check my ears, said they were fine. Left to get my prescription for my cough and left.
