Dr. Marisa Lojko Bio

Dr. Marisa Lojko attended Ontario Tech University where she studied Kinesiology. She was a bridge student which allowed her to achieve her Bachelor of Health Science from Ontario tech and Doctor of Chiropractic degree from CMCC in 7 years instead of 8. While at Ontario Tech she was involved in athletics, being a part of the Varsity dance team during her years there and even as an assistant coach while attending CMCC. She has won various awards at OTU for her athletic and academic achievements. She recently received the Scott Wilson award from CMCC upon graduation in 2022. Marisa believes that movement is medicine. Her main goal with patients is to help get them back to doing what they love and providing them with unique, tailored education and treatment plans, doing so using an evidence-informed model. She believes we are all unique and should be treated as such. She uses various manual therapy techniques, corrective exercises, modalities and most importantly patient education with all her treatment plans. She is always looking to improve her skills and expand her knowledge. In her free time you can find her coaching group fitness classes, strength training, cycling, hiking or playing tennis!
