Dr. Lesley Taylor-Hughes is a chiropractor who decided to pursue a career in chiropractic after personally experiencing the benefits of chiropractic care while she was a university student. She was particularly drawn to the conservative, safe, and natural approach of chiropractic in managing neuromusculoskeletal conditions without invasive drugs or surgery. After completing a degree in biology, Dr. Taylor-Hughes obtained her doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1990. She initially practiced in Toronto and later moved to Richmond, where she established her current family practice in 1994. In her practice, Dr. Taylor-Hughes employs a full spine diversified adjusting technique along with the activator technique. This allows her to provide a range of services, from pain relief to wellness care, catering to patients of all ages. Dr. Taylor-Hughes has actively contributed to the chiropractic profession through her involvement in professional organizations. She served on the Inquiry Committee for the College of Chiropractors of BC from 2003 to 2019, demonstrating her commitment to upholding professional standards and ethics within the field.
