Dr. Sowerby completed his undergraduate degree at Bishop’s University in Quebec, before heading out west for medical school at the University of Calgary. He subsequently completed residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Western Ontario in 2011, before heading out to the University of Alberta to complete a fellowship in rhinology and anterior skull base surgery. He is now an assistant professor at Western University and completed a masters degree in Health Management from McMaster University during his first 3 years on faculty. He is an active member of several national and international societies and is involved in international medical outreach and teaching in Guyana.
