Dr. Katie Law is an evidence-based chiropractor located in downtown Windsor, Ontario. Having grown up in the same city, she has strong ties to her hometown and is passionate about providing quality healthcare to her community. Her educational journey includes obtaining a degree with Clinical Honours from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College after completing her undergraduate education at the University of Windsor, majoring in Human Kinetics (Movement Sciences). Additionally, Dr. Law pursued further education at McMaster University in the Department of Anesthesiology, where she gained certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture. Dr. Law's practice style is comprehensive and incorporates a variety of treatment modalities tailored to individual patient needs. Her approach may include patient education, spinal manipulation, joint mobilization, acupuncture, muscle release and soft tissue therapies, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, cold laser therapy, kinesiotaping, and personalized exercise and rehabilitation programs. In January 2020, Dr. Law became a GrowCo Ambassador, representing a postnatal rehabilitation collective that aims to elevate the standard of care for postnatal women. She is dedicated to helping mothers recover and safely regain physical activity after childbirth. This may involve one-on-one sessions with moms or hosting virtual or online series focusing on various aspects of postnatal healing, such as breathwork, diastasis recti healing, postural strengthening, core and pelvic floor reconditioning, and gluteal strengthening. As a primary health care provider, Dr. Katie Law understands the importance of collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to her patients. She is open to working with doctors, physiotherapists, and massage therapists, and will refer patients to the appropriate practitioners when necessary. Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Law enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and new baby girl, and walking her golden retriever, Lennox, around the neighborhood. She has a love for the outdoors, traveling, home renovation projects, and cherishes the time she spends with her friends and family.
