Dr. Ryan, a native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, has a strong connection to his East Coast roots and values the down-to-earth and kindhearted nature of Nova Scotians. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2012 before pursuing his chiropractic education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, just like Dr. Seaman. Sports have played a significant role in Dr. Ryan's life, and he has actively contributed to the athletic community. During his time in Newfoundland, he served as the Director of Strength and Conditioning for the St. John's Soccer and Hockey Association of Newfoundland. In this role, he was responsible for designing and overseeing training programs for the off-seasons of soccer and hockey athletes. Dr. Ryan has further expanded his skill set by obtaining certification as a Medical Acupuncture Provider. Additionally, he is a certified Red Cross emergency first responder, which has provided him with opportunities to volunteer at various sporting events. He has served as a member of the medical staff at championships such as the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) championships, Toronto Super Series Championship, and Lacrosse World Championships in Syracuse, New York, where he acted as a liaison for Team Australia. In his free time, Dr. Ryan enjoys staying active by participating in sports like hockey, rugby, and golf. He also dedicates time to powerlifting at the gym, further highlighting his commitment to fitness and overall well-being.
