. Giselle Chamberlain’s family wellness practice reflects her holistic outlook towards life-long health as well as her dedication to caring for patients of all ages. Raised in Victoria, Giselle attained her Bachelor of Science Degree at UBC, and continued her studies at Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California. Dr. Chamberlain’s practice has an emphasis in perinatal chiropractic care – care for expectant mothers and their children. The unique physiological and emotional needs in pregnancy, postpartum and childhood requires special attention and Giselle enjoys providing family chiropractic care as well as being a resource for many of the questions that arise from new parents. Dr Chamberlain is always continuing to enhance her knowledge and skills through further training. She completed her 180-hour post-doctorate program with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association in 2008, earning her CACCP credentials with the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice. This training focuses on chiropractic care for families, prenatal/postnatal mothers and children. Dr. Chamberlain is also certified in the Webster Technique, which is a safe and gentle method to restore proper balance and function for pregnant mothers. Through chiropractic, infants and children are assisted naturally through their milestones for optimal growth and development. In addition to her prenatal and pediatric practice, Dr. Chamberlain is also a certified Active Release Technique® (ART) provider and successfully uses Class IV Laser Therapy to aid in many ailments and injuries. By using these state-of-the-art soft tissue therapies as well as Chiropractic adjustments, she is able to address many musculoskeletal complaints. After providing Chiropractic care to families in the Kitsilano area since 2008, Dr. Chamberlain co-founded and opened Mint Integrative Health, a collaborative health and wellness space with Dr. Bobby Parmar ND RAc and Dr. Alana Shaw ND RAc. When not in the office, Giselle and her husband are busy raising their 2 fun-loving daughters and enjoying all that Vancouver has to offer.
