Dr. Evan Durnin is a dedicated chiropractor with a passion for athletic injuries and sports rehabilitation. He was raised on a farm in the local Calgary area, and his journey in healthcare began at the University of Lethbridge, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. After working as a personal trainer and conditioning coach for over a year, Dr. Evan moved to Toronto to further his education in athletics, health, and wellbeing. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC), where he graduated with clinic honours. During his time in Toronto, Dr. Evan pursued various certifications to enhance his skills and knowledge in sports rehabilitation. He completed certifications in Full Body Active Release Techniques (ART®), became a certified Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Provider from McMaster University, and trained in Graston Techniques. Dr. Evan's commitment to staying at the forefront of his field led him to further certifications, including becoming certified in Complete Concussion Management to treat and manage concussions. Most recently, he achieved certification as a Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist (FRCms). Dr. Evan approaches patient care with an evidence-based and diversified chiropractic approach. He aims to understand each patient's unique condition and utilizes a combination of active rehabilitation and passive therapy to provide comprehensive care. Passionate about treating athletes of all levels, Dr. Evan's goal is to offer the essential therapies needed to help patients achieve optimal performance.
