Dr. Daniel Birch Bio

Dr. Daniel Birch is originally from Castlegar, B.C, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University. After working as a Kinesiologist, he attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto and graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic. He has worked in clinics in Toronto, Dominican Republic and has now returned to North Vancouver. Dr. Birch strongly believes that collaborative multi-disciplinary care is vital for patient-focused treatment plans. He uses a diverse clinical approach combining chiropractic care, exercise therapy from his background of being a Kinesiologist, as well as, Active Release Techniques (ART) and instrument-assisted techniques. Dr. Birch is inspired to work with people of all ages to help them reach their optimal health, function, and performance. His work experience has included headaches, back pain, neck pain, sport-specific injuries, overuse, TMJ disorders, and many other musculoskeletal conditions. Through these experiences, he has had the opportunity to work with cyclists, runners, and other athletes. Dr. Birch has attended numerous outreach programs as he is highly passionate about improving the health of his community. In his spare time, Dr. Birch enjoys hockey, snowboarding, hiking, yoga, running, and cycling.
