Dr. Avtar Jassal is a Vancouver chiropractor who has dedicated his career to promoting wellness and enhancing the health of his patients. Born and raised in Thompson, northern Manitoba, Dr. Jassal pursued his pre-chiropractic education at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. After completing three years of undergraduate studies, Dr. Jassal was accepted into the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. He spent three years there before finishing his final year at Life Chiropractic College West near San Francisco, California. In 2003, he graduated with honors (Cum Laude) from the Doctor of Chiropractic program. Following his graduation, Dr. Jassal returned to Winnipeg, Manitoba, where he practiced for three years. During this time, he gained valuable experience working in various clinics through relief work, allowing him to master different adjusting techniques. In the second half of his time in Winnipeg, he became an associate doctor at a busy and successful wellness clinic, where he built a thriving practice. In 2007, Dr. Jassal and his wife Michelina relocated to Vancouver, where he established a successful family wellness-based practice on West Broadway. He is passionate about providing quality chiropractic care to his patients and regularly attends post-graduate training to stay updated on the latest techniques and advancements in chiropractic. Dr. Jassal is a former director for the College of Chiropractors of BC, the regulatory body responsible for the registration and regulation of chiropractors in British Columbia. He is a member of the International Chiropractic Association and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, reflecting his commitment to serving patients of all ages. Dr. Jassal utilizes the Torque Release Technique (TRT) in his chiropractic practice, which involves using an instrument to deliver adjustments. He specializes in treating children, expecting mothers, and families, emphasizing the importance of enhancing health and vitality for all practice members and the community. Outside of his chiropractic practice, Dr. Jassal actively participates in community fundraising for the Vancouver Food Bank. He enjoys reading, practicing yoga, and snowboarding. Dr. Jassal also shares his knowledge and expertise by giving talks on various health topics within the community. As a dedicated family man, Dr. Jassal cherishes spending quality time with his wife Michelina and their two children, Luca and Sienna.
