Dr. Avesh Rakkar, DC, R.Ac, B.Kin. Dr. Avesh Rakkar received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto and her Honours Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from York University. Dr. Rakkar is also a Registered Acupuncturist specializing in both Medical and Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture. She is trained and certified in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization techniques such as Graston, Gua-Sha and Cupping. Dr.Rakkar possesses great clinical experience in treating sports related and personal injuries, motor vehicle accident and work related injuries, paediatric and senior care as well as post-surgical orthopaedic care and rehabilitation, fertility and cosmetic acupuncture.
