What to Expect Before and After Treatment for Diabetic Retinopathy

Our practice is comprised of six specialists, Dr. Simon R. Lam, Dr. Dhar S. Dhanda, Dr. Leah A. Wittenberg, Dr. Steve Levasseur, Dr. Robert Gizicki and Dr. David Ta Kim. We are fully trained in all aspects of medical and surgical treatment of diseases of the vitreous and retina. We are all faculty members of the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of British Columbia.

We also have two ophthalmologists undergoing advanced subspecialty fellowship training with us under the auspices of the University of British Columbia. Our current fellows are Dr. Festus Kwakye and Dr. Shadi Safuri.Dr. Leah Wittenberg , Ophthalmologist, New Westminster who are in  good standing with the Canadain Ophthalmolgical Society in  Canada. and are in good standing with the Canadian Medicial Association and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons.
