Detoxifying foods are foods that help with eliminating toxins from the body.

So these include environmental toxins such as pollution or cigarette smoke, as well as heavy metals that may be in our environment as well as bacteria, molds and yeast.

Some examples of detoxifying foods include fruits and vegetables as well as many of the spices that we use. For example, cayenne pepper as well as garlic have very strong detoxifying properties.
