There are many benefits of yoga: increased flexibility, increase in strength, balance, coordination.

Even with the mind, calming the mind, finding peace within. The more you practice the more you can bring the calming of the mind, the sense of peace into your real world off the mat, and situations that you're in that you would normally get more frustrated or angry about, the more you practice yoga you'll be able to find a calm place and not be able to react to that.
