Duration: 1 minute

Children and improper posture has become a big problem.

We often tend to think about our own footwear ahead of our kids'. Today, there are a number of supportive children's shoes out there, and we need to be getting them for our kids at around age five, six or seven.

At these ages kids are growing at the greatest rate, and their muscles are developing, so they need lots of support and cushioning. We also need to be thinking about how we can get our kids moving, and they need to be working on standing up straight, moving their arms and legs, and adopting good walking posture habits.

If you have questions about posture, contact a local kinesiologist or physiotherapist.
