There's many benefits for prenatal yoga, one of them definitely is it helps alleviate a lot of the common symptoms of pregnancy.

It helps relieve any stress and sort of eases the mind of the mom-to-be. Also there's many poses that really prepare you for the labor, so helping tone the pelvic floor, helping your body become strong, opening your hips.

And a lot of these postures that are doing all this benefit before the birth are actually going to help during labor as well. If you want to start prenatal yoga usually you want to speak with your doctor and make sure you don't have any conditions that maybe you're not able to do certain postures.

If that's the case, then we'll know that starting out. Inform your teacher, which would be a certified prenatal yoga teacher, and we can work with you from there.

So there just may be certain post you modify, or other postures you may not participate in, but you're definitely welcome to do the prenatal yoga.
