How do you Sleep With an Insulin Pump

Featuring Cecilia Hamming, RN, BA., Medtronic CPT

Duration: 36 seconds

Some people have concerns about sleeping with their pump because they're afraid of dislodging the site.

One way - a couple of ways that patients get around this is by wearing it on their pyjama waist as you would a pager, the other one is putting it in the pyjama pocket. If you're not a restless sleeper, you could place your pump beside you in bed.

If you have any further questions the best resources for you are your insulin pump trainer or your diabetes clinical care team.
