She graduated from the University of British Columbia and has worked and trained in a variety of locations (from rural BC and NWT, to more exotic areas, such as Vanuatu and Cuba). Her professional interests include immigrant and refugee health, travel medicine and international health, and applying genetics in family medicine. Dr. Karalic also has a Master’s degree in Medical Genetics. She can speak Serbo-Croatian and Spanish, and is married with two small boys who keep her very busy.
