Dr. Roy graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1997, obtaining her Doctor of Optometry degree and a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours. She also completed an Ocular Therapeutics Placement at the Omni Eye Centre in Denver, Colorado. She serves as a bilingual OSCE Examiner and a member of the Question Validation (Standard Setting) team for the Canadian Examining Board of Canada, which establishes and assesses national entry-to-practice competence in Optometry for new graduates. She is a member in good standing of Optometric Associations at the national, provincial, and local levels.
