The Derrick Golf Club is a Private, Member Owned Facility.

The Derrick Club was originally founded in 1957 to provide a multipurpose recreational facility to its members.  The Club opened in 1959 as one of the most unique private clubs in Canada. Our golf course plays to a par 71 offering 4 sets of tee boxes ranging in length from 5419 yards to 6606. The Derrick Club is located in a prime residential area and is easily reached from anywhere in Edmonton, including downtown.  

The Club has extensive food and beverage facilities, which include a banquet room accommodating up to 200 guests, private dining rooms and a boardroom. Our two main banquet rooms feature a private patio and spectacular view of the golf course.  The parking is plentiful and free.  The Club’s elegant front entrance, country club setting, private atmosphere and exceptional food and beverage service give our guests an extraordinary value.
 

Tennis

This is Christine’s third year as the head tennis professional at the Derrick Club. She has been playing competitive tennis almost her entire life.  She received a scholarship to play tennis at the University of Kansas where she studied sport and fitness management.  With three years experience at the Derrick Club and another six years as an assistant tennis coach at the Royal Glenora Club Christine has a great deal of experience coaching players of all levels, abilities and ages.  She is excited to be the Derrick Club’s tennis professional again this summer and is hoping to introduce this lifetime sport to as many members as possible.
