Dr. Bhatnagar is a cardiac surgeon in Mississauga, Ontario, and Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Toronto. He has expertise in ‘beating heart’ surgery and has had a long and successful career in cardiac research and education.

He has been a staff physician at a number of Ontario hospitals, including Trauma Team Leader at Victoria Hospital; Staff Surgeon, Cardiovascular Surgery at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre; and Chief, Division of Cardiac Surgery at Trillium Health Centre.
