HealthChoicesFirst.com Announces Appointment of Dr. Amit Gupta MD FACS to Medical Board
Dr. Amit Gupta, M.D. FACS Medical Retina Specialist has joined Health Choices First’s experienced Ophthalmology group, Dr Gupta will be focusing on creating both video and audio educational content and software for patient education and physician efficiency for our Patient Communication Platforms.
As Health Choices First rolls out its third party Patient Communication Platforms ( websites ) populated with video content to attract specialists to the platforms, Dr. Gupta will be working with us to create cutting edge educational video and audio FAQ content that is for software based programs for Optometrists and Ophthalmologists. These programs will be apart of HCF greater software and video based products in our 2000 videos title library. With phone sales out pacing desk top computers 8-1 HCF is committed to increasing its quality of video and audio content and medical expertise to represent the changing digital landscape.
The growing platform will include email able Optometry and Ophthalmology video libraries of educational content focused on prevention, disease management, treatment options and the diversity of treatment methods.

Dr. Gupta is board certified in ophthalmology and fellowship trained in vitreo-retinal surgery. After almost 30 years in the United States he is returning to his home in Toronto to be closer to his Family. He completed medical school from Hahnemann University School of Medicine (now part of Drexel University) with many awards. His ophthalmology residency was from The Eye and Ear Institute at University of Pittsburg. A surgical retina fellowship was completed from Crozer-Chester Hospital in Philadelphia. During his fellowship Dr. Gupta helped developed the MAVE—a Multi-Axis Vision Evaluator.
Dr. Gupta had a private practice in the Poconos, in eastern ennsylvanian and was chairman of the Dept. of Ophthalmology at the Pocono Health System and the Eye-Trauma surgeon for St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem. Dr. Gupta was a Principal Investigator in human trials for Lucentis and its use in Wet Macular Degeneration. Prior to starting his career in medicine, Dr. Gupta worked in the Silicone Valley as a computer engineer. He holds a degree in computer engineering from McMaster University and patents in both engineering and medicine.
