    I like that Dr. Etaleb takes a “better safe than sorry” approach. I went for a check up for something minor and he advised covering all bases and booked tests for me. That might sound basic, but I appreciated it rather than just telling me it’s nothing.

    My usually healthy, stable and strong daughter was having a major anxiety and panic attack due to a breakup that had just happened a couple of days earlier - unable to sleep, eat, function, etc... Tried to help her by asking doctor for something that would calm her down. Doctor's reaction was shockingly rude. He behaved like she was a drug addict looking for a fix, stated that he didn't prescribe "narcotics" (???) and that we should get a family doctor or go to a hospital's emergency. Prescribed her some medication that would relieve anxiety in no less than FOUR WEEKS, with total disregard for her current condition. Went back to explain the emergency of it all, and he was totally callous and rude and again restated that we should have a family doctor or go to emergency! Felt totally shamed and I myself was extremely angry with his uncaring, insensitive and coldhearted behaviour. Didn't even try to talk to her and make her feel better.
