Dr. Sanja Avinashi Bio

Dr. Sanja Avinashi obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Anatomy and Cell Biology, as well as her Medical Degree, at the University of Saskatchewan. She then moved from her hometown of Saskatoon and lived and practiced in Alberta, Ontario, Nunavut and once again in Saskatchewan before finally settling down in Vancouver, BC. She practices family medicine, providing care to prenatal patients, infants, children, adults and seniors. She particularly enjoys doing prenatal shared care which involves taking care of patients early in the course of pregnancy and then referring them on for delivery as well as following postpartum moms and new babies. In her spare time, Dr. Avinashi enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her husband and two young children
