When you come to Gemini we want you to be surrounded by friendly, caring and helpful people and leave feeling like you got 100% of the attention of your therapist and their best effort in helping you achieve your goals. Both Alex and Tara graduated from York University with bachelor’s degrees in Kinesiology after having played varsity basketball for the Lions. Although they chose different career paths, with Alex pursuing physiotherapy and Tara following her love for animals in a veterinary technician role, they both remained passionate about sports, nutrition, health and the never-ending thirst for knowledge. Alex has always had a passion for teaching. In 2016-17 he assisted Dr. Hamilton Hall with his class at the University of Toronto Medical School titled “Mechanical Low Back Pain: A Syndrome Approach”. Under Dr. Hall’s expert tutelage, Alex’s knowledge and expertise grew and his passion for education blossomed.
