We all forget things as we age, but that doesn’t mean we have dementia. Dementia isn’t just one condition - it’s a term that refers to symptoms that cause a decline in mental ability that interferes with daily life. Alzheimer's is the most common type of dementia and accounts for 60 to 80 percent of cases. Vascular dementia is the second most common dementia type and occurs after a stroke. Memory loss that worsens over time can be another type of dementia.  Pour plus d'informations et les services locaux des psychiatres locaux à Montréal et à Québec PQ, contactez votre psychiatre local

Wow!! It's terrifying that this guy is responsible and in control of some peoples mental health and well-being. Had one appointment with him and I'm not going back. Went back to my GP to have them correct all of the unhelpful and debilitating changes he made on my file.

Horrible doctor. Forced me to stop the medication that worked for me for over 20+ years. He then promised me to restore that medication, Xanax, late in 2020. He then reneged on that promise and left me without my life saving medication. He also creepily asked me about my "sexual health" which is very out of line. He needs to be removed and replaced with a more competent doctor! Where is my medication? If you actually care, .5 mg Xanax 4-6 times per day. Make it happen!

Experience with Dr. Reza has been awful. Diagnosed with a mental health disorder and prescribed medication. Follow up 6 months later (which seems a bit long considering a new diagnosis and new medication), medication had not been working\negative side effects, prescribed new medication and zero follow up. Medication still not working, called to make an appointment to adjust and was advised I was discharged and could no longer see me (had to go back to family doctor to be re referred). No notice of discharge, no follow up appointments to even determine effectiveness of medication and when dealing with mental health, this is unacceptable. Would not recommend Dr. Reza

Was taking antidepressants that worked. Dr. called me to ask how the meds were working. He had woken me from deep sleep and being confused, I told him it wasn’t working as well as I had hoped. He then prescribed an alternate med. About an hour later, I realized my error and tried to cancel the new prescription and revert back to previous med. I have been fighting to get this prescription back to the first one prescribed and at the same dosage! This is an ongoing struggle for me and this Dr. keeps prescribing different doses of this alternate med. I don’t know why I have to fight so hard to take the prescription that works, the one I want to take. He keeps prescribing limited supplies of my original med at ridiculously lower dosages, saying he’s weaning me off of it! Now I have been forced to take decreased amts. of medication to see me thru ‘til my appt. I have 3 days to go ‘til my appt. and not enough meds to last me ‘til then. I can’t change Dr.’s because there’s only 2 of them and they work together! These medications are given to help decrease my symptoms. Because of this Dr.’s refusal to prescribe me my meds at their original dosage, my stress levels have been increased, totally unnecessarily, through the roof! I’m without proper medication and it is due to the fact that this Dr. dismisses my wishes and tries to shove his, ill-informed, position on me! This is not only demoralizing, but insulting! When something works, leave it alone! The last thing I want to happen, is a trip to the psych ward! But then, in order to take exclusive control, perhaps this has been his intention, all along! I am trying to rise above my issues, but am being squashed like a bug! I would not recommend this Dr., to my dog! He’s making my symptoms worse, instead of working with me to help me to improve!

Quiet spoken, does not ask many questions and appointments tend to be short, can seem distant, reads other provider's notes carefully, excellent summary reports, appropriate medication offered and effects well-explained.

Unprofessionally harsh given his setting. Yes some people need toughness. But it made things so much worse for me. So so much worse.
