We all forget things as we age, but that doesn’t mean we have dementia. Dementia isn’t just one condition - it’s a term that refers to symptoms that cause a decline in mental ability that interferes with daily life. Alzheimer's is the most common type of dementia and accounts for 60 to 80 percent of cases. Vascular dementia is the second most common dementia type and occurs after a stroke. Memory loss that worsens over time can be another type of dementia.  Pour plus d'informations et les services locaux des psychiatres locaux à Montréal et à Québec PQ, contactez votre psychiatre local

He made me feel worthless by continuously falling asleep on me. I wasn't strong enough then to blame him. I blamed myself. I wasn't saying the right things or maybe I just didn't matter. I attempted a serious suicide due to his direct actions. He is lying about so many things and apparently has from the beginning. My permanent record is full of his lies to make me look bad in case I ever told on him. I wish I had a warning.

Dr. Kraitberg fell asleep on me multiple times. I kept telling him how it made me feel and asked him not to fo it again but he did. This was over a long period, not a bad week or even month. His actions led to a bad chain of events culminating in my 'serious' suicide attempt. He protected fellow staff that mistreated me and in a decade he did NOTHING to help with my childhood traumas or the fresh trauma caused by hospital staff. I was too vulnerable to know where to turn to or start a complaint process. I have since complained but the CPSO doesn't feel like a doctor falling asleep is public business. They are taking away our rights to make informed decisions about our health. If I had known that Dr. Kraitberg had the propensity to fall asleep I would have CHOSEN another doctor. Buyer be ware because no one is looking out for us.

Dr. Kraitberg fell fully asleep on me multiple times. I needed to deal with past trauma that he never touched and now I see he's written in my record that I wasn't ready to talk. I am shocked. I begged him for help. My first time telling him everything, I look up and he was sleeping. I was a mess, he was catching Zs. I am trying to fight this but he is lying about so much and every word he says is being believed. I attempted suicide after a short time with him. I was vulnerable and he took full advantage.

If Neil could not fall asleep during my hour. If Neil could advocate for me in times of crises instead of just staring at me to protect his fellow employees. If Neil could tell the truth instead of lying on my permanent record.
