We all forget things as we age, but that doesn’t mean we have dementia. Dementia isn’t just one condition - it’s a term that refers to symptoms that cause a decline in mental ability that interferes with daily life. Alzheimer's is the most common type of dementia and accounts for 60 to 80 percent of cases. Vascular dementia is the second most common dementia type and occurs after a stroke. My appt was just so disappointing I actually left office in tears. She didn't show any compassion or any emotions. Zero Empathy. I feel like I was much more positive about my Dx going in than i did coming out. I don't normally rate a Dr unless very happy and would recommend. I cannot do that here. I'm sorry. A woman on the subway caught my eye and engaged me and helped me more than Dr D. Maybe it was a bad day but I felt unliked as soon as our time began. I will go back to www. Help.me! Thank you. Twitter treated me better jk.
