We all forget things as we age, but that doesn’t mean we have dementia. Dementia isn’t just one condition - it’s a term that refers to symptoms that cause a decline in mental ability that interferes with daily life. Alzheimer's is the most common type of dementia and accounts for 60 to 80 percent of cases. Vascular dementia is the second most common dementia type and occurs after a stroke. Memory loss that worsens over time can be another type of dementia.  Pour plus d'informations et les services locaux des psychiatres locaux à Montréal et à Québec PQ, contactez votre psychiatre local

His punctuality is terrible, he would call 10-15 minutes late and end the session 10 minutes early. You only talk to him for 25-30 minutes before he says, that's all the time we have. When he said 50 minute sessions are guaranteed. It seems he is very Old-school How he does his practice, he doesn't know what YouTube is, he doesn't know about smart phone notification. He is impossible to reach if you have any questions about the upcoming appointments. He does not actively listen to your problems, and later misinterprets the conversation when he brings it up. So every time I would have to correct him what he is saying. He Doesn't seem to try to understand you or the problem, as he never leads the conversation by asking questions. All he says is tell me about this and tell me about that. Once you tell him something, he does not engage in the conversation, and makes me feel like your talking to yourself. Many times throughout the conversation i would have to say "hello, are you there" because of the silence. And another thing is he is VERYY slow, it took almost 11 sessions 1 time per week to get a diagnosis from him. The way he talks makes you feel very uncomfortable, I suggest to strongly re consider anyone who is planning on using him as a so called Psychiatrist. Bottom line is, he is too old school and he is not aware of modern practices. So If your looking for someone with a modern approach with your mental health concerns, he is not recommended.
