We all forget things as we age, but that doesn’t mean we have dementia. Dementia isn’t just one condition - it’s a term that refers to symptoms that cause a decline in mental ability that interferes with daily life. Alzheimer's is the most common type of dementia and accounts for 60 to 80 percent of cases. Vascular dementia is the second most common dementia type and occurs after a stroke. Memory loss that worsens over time can be another type of dementia.  Pour plus d'informations et les services locaux des psychiatres locaux à Montréal et à Québec PQ, contactez votre psychiatre local

Things have worked well between us for years. No bullshit from either one of us, that's the deal we have. Appointments are not long enough for extras but that's ok because I know where to go for reliable info and if I have a question I ask him and he answers me. I don't want a support group because I'm not a people person. Nature gave birds wings so they could fly and human beings tears so we could cry. That's nature's safety valve so our emotions don't blow us to smithereens. I use that safety valve a lot and it works well. Meds work ok too. I like things that work. So if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Dr. Sehon works well for me. Not for everyone I'm sure but he works well for me. :-)

Refused to give me legal access to my psychiatric assessment file upon request as is outlined within the moral codes of conduct within the profession. Dr. Sehon used intimidation tactics, during psychiatric assessment, intruding in both my intimate and personal space in violation codes of conduct that even psychiatric nurses know better than to cross. Having the assessment done within the confines of an office the size of a small walk in closet was also intimidating. To ask the question almost immediately if I have ever received shock treatment almost immediately without giving reason for the question had me venerable and fearful. He lied to me on 2 occasions during the assessment which did not instill any form of confidence in his supposed impartiality to assessment. Despite his initial direction that I did not need to answer questions I did not feel like, he continued to press me for answers. Since it has been relayed to me that I was cleared of any psychological problems and am told I can return to work, he has no legal right to deny me the results. My health care provider is also refusing to send me the results that I am legally entitled to.
