Amy Harris Bio

I graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy's New Westminster campus and have been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist since 2014. My massage style ranges from relaxation to deep tissue and sports massage. I work with a diverse group of people who live and/or work in the Kitsilano area with a variety of conditions and goals including: •computer workers who suffer from tension headaches, •new mothers adapting to their growing family, •crossfit enthusiasts working on their Olympic lift, •lab techs who spend their days looking into a microscope, •ultra-marathoners working on increasing their endurance, •resident interns who live and breathing medicine day and night, and everything in between.

I was a legal administrative assistant and a joiner (fine woodworking) in the Vancouver area before I became a Registered Massage Therapist. Switching careers and moving into a healthcare profession, and into massage therapy specifically, has been incredibly rewarding. Whether it's cutting seconds off their mile run or reducing leg cramps during pregnancy, I look forward to seeing my clients everyday, getting to know them, and working with them to achieve their personal goals.
