Dr. Halperin will be joining Health Choices First’s experienced cardiology group, who are focusing on creating multi-language video material for the site’s patient education platform.

“As Health Choices First rolls out its offering to include video-based CME to attract specialists to the HCF platform, it is also is expanding its patient education platform,” says Jackson Sayers, CEO, “Dr. Halperin will be working with other cardiologists at Kelowna Cardiology Associates, where he is a general cardiologist, towards our large-scale initiative for multi-language patient educational video material.”

The growing platform will include email able cardiovascular and cardiothoracic video libraries of educational content focused on prevention, disease management, treatment options and the diversity of treatment methods.

Dr. Halperin is the medical director for cardiology at Kelowna General Hospital and the Interior Health Authority. He is a staff cardiologist at Kelowna General Hospital, with interests in clinical research, community cardiology and quality improvement. He manages the atrial fibrillation clinic at Kelowna General Hospital, and is an assistant clinical professor of medicine at the University of British Columbia.
